South African union of students threatens to shut down the country

The South African Union of Students is threatening to shut down the country if Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande doesn’t respond to its demands. It’s given the minister until Friday to answer to 15 demands.

Late last week the President sent the ANC Secretary General Ace Magashule to say, he has heard the cry of the students and he is working on a plan to assist them financially so they can finish their studies however this is what the students are told year in year out and they now want to know how the government will achieve what he has promised.
