The public transportation mask mandate that demands people travelling on planes, buses, trains and other forms of transportation has American Senator, Rand Paul pledging to fight it.
Paul posted on social media that when the Senate returns to session, he will be introducing an immediate repeal of the mask mandate on planes. He added that it was time to stop this farce and let people travel in peace.
This public transportation mandate that requires passengers to cover their faces or to mask-up on public transport was initially implemented by Joe Biden when he came into office and that is exactly what Rand Paul pledges to fight.
Paul’s comments are the latest in a string of protests the GOP senator has waged against the Biden administration’s COVID-19 response. After White House press secretary Jen Psaki announced Biden’s new door-to-door vaccination strategy to encourage Americans to get the COVID-19 vaccine, Paul posted a condemnation of the plan, writing, and I quote “No!” “The gov’t doesn’t decide who gets vaccinated,” “You do no not submit to the fearmongers.”
