S.A Local Government Elections: Early results update

It is the South Africa’s local government elections and today, 2nd of November is the day the results are announced.

The voter count turned out to be low this time around with a large number of South Africans not being interested in voting.

Currently the 2016 results are looking far better than this year’s results. In 2016, 56% of people voted, where this year the voters are sitting at 43%

The leading party is currently sitting at 46.8% of council votes, 23.0% DA, 9.67% EFF. 90% of the results will be finalized tonight.
