Send portions at Christmas: Churches around the world spread love this festive season

Different churches in various countries of the world have sent their send portions update. In the UK, Christmas comes early for children residing at the Women’s Refuge in Lewisham as the Inner City Partners from Christ Embassy Oldham visited them bearing various gifts for the children.

The manager of the home was so surprised and thankful to the partners for remembering them at such a time as this. In Uganda, volunteers in Gaba organized a Pad and Diapers distribution to residents of Bulambuli resettlement camp and Jewa community.

They distributed over 8000 disposable sanitary towels and reusable pads to young girls and nursing mothers. They also organized an interactive session teaching the beneficiaries menstrual hygiene. Iin Pakistan, volunteers distributed delicious meals and drinks to Street children in Jaranwala, Faisalabad Punjab.

The children were filled with great joy for this timely display of love. In Gaborone, Botswana partners organized Send Portions Christmas fiesta at the Tsholofelong Children Center in Old Naledi. They featured activities like games, dance, singing, poetry, and other prize-winning competitions.

Food, drinks, snacks, and cakes were not left out of the party and every child received special gift boxes containing; hygiene packs, toys, and donations of clothes, uniforms, shoes, school bags, groceries, and toiletries.

It was indeed a memorable Christmas Fiesta for the children who benefitted from this act of love. Over 600 internally displaced children and families were filled with great joy as partners in Maiduguri distributed packed food, drinks, toys, ROR for children, and more.

They also shared the gospel of love and the reason for the season and many gave their hearts to Christ.  Join in to prepare and distribute 1 million Christmas portions of hearty meals and gifts to the needy.
