The U.S Supreme Court has completely ruled out President Joe Biden’s mandatory vaccine or testing policy for large businesses & companies.
The new mandate came into effect from Monday this week, and required all businesses with more than 100 staff to impose rigorous testing in the workplace in order to ensure that as many employees as possible are vaccinated.
Under the mandate unvaccinated staff would be required to provide weekly negative tests and wear a mask in the workplace. The rules would have affected more than 80 million Americans, around two-thirds of the US workforce.
However, the Supreme Court’s conservative majority blocked the move, ruling that the White House had overstepped its authority.
