On Tuesday, the British Airways announced that it will no longer require for its passengers on board to wear face masks starting yesterday, Wednesday.

The airline stated that it will leave people with a choice to either wear it or not.

This makes the airline the first major airline to drop the mask mandate. As the airline announced that decision, the Virgin airline, a British airline also said they will be dropping their mask mandate for passengers travelling between London or Manchester and the Caribbean from Wednesday.
