Eskom working on lifting power cuts by weekend 

On Wednesday night, Eskom lowered load shedding from Stage 4 to Stage 3. The utility said it planned to halt controlled power outages on Thursday morning.

According to Eskom’s Sikonathi Mantshantsha, six-generation units have been restored to service in the last 24 hours, with three more expected to be restored on Thursday. LN24 SA reporter Innocent Semosa with the details.
