Breaking News: The Chris Oyakhilome Foundation provides relief to Durban’s flood victims

On the 2nd of May 2022 the ‘Chris Oyakhilome Foundation’ provided relief goods to the indigenous people of Durban, KwaZulu Natal after days of heavy rain across the province in southeastern South Africa led to deadly floods. Particularly hard-hit were areas in and around Durban.

At least 435 people died across the province, with an unknown number of people missing as of April 21. Several thousand homes were damaged or destroyed. Critical infrastructure, including major roads, transportation, communication, and electrical systems, were also impacted by the flooding, and this damage greatly hampered recovery and relief efforts.

The Chris Oyakhilome Foundation in South Africa did not only provide them with relief goods but they demonstrated the love of God through their actions and over 400 people gave their hearts to Christ.
