South Africa’s police minister urges police to move faster

Police Minister Bheki Cele stated that the Namhla Mtwa murder probe must be accelerated in order to avoid similar crimes by the perpetrator.

Cele and National Commissioner Fannie Masemola paid a visit to the late social worker’s house in Mthatha on Thursday. Last month, the 35-year-old was shot dead outside her home in what appeared to be a gender-based attack.
