Solly Krok: On a mission to end hunger 

Solly Krok, 93, a veteran businessman from South Africa, is keen to show that age is only a number as he urges communities to stay active while still feeding the less fortunate. In 2020 Solly Krok initiated a project to tackle the hunger and poverty that he says “mushroomed” as a result of the economic hardship caused by the lockdown.

This year, he is raising money in collaboration with Smile Foundation SA, an NPO that is helping to build Greys Hospital’s first-ever burns unit. LN24 SA correspondent Innocent Semosa had a chart with Solly Krok and filed this report. Have a look
