President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Sunday that he will not be attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, due to the ongoing energy crisis.
Ramaphosa was set to lead a delegation of ministers and South African business leaders to promote South Africa as a preferred investment destination.
According to the Presidency, Ramaphosa is currently meeting with leaders of political parties represented in Parliament, the national energy crisis committee, and the Eskom board of directors.
