U.S President Joe Biden has come out to respond to the discovery of the classified documents in his home. The White House disclosed that Biden attorneys found classified documents and official records on four separate occasions in November at the offices of the Penn Biden Center in Washington, on the 20th of last December in the garage of the president’s Wilmington, Delaware home, and also on 11th and 12th of November in the president’s home library.
Attorney General Merrick Garland last week appointed Robert Hur, a former Maryland U.S. attorney, to serve as special counsel to oversee the Justice Department’s inquiry into the documents.
Meanwhile yesterday, when Karine Jean-Pierre held a White House Press Briefing she was asked whether Biden regrets not telling the public immediately about classified documents found at his home.
