During the COVID-19 plandemic, there was a race among the world’s major economic powers to patent vaccines against the coronavirus. Sputnik-V was one of them and was created by a group of 18 Russian scientists, including Andrey Botikov.
According to Russian reports this Sunday, the scientist had been found murdered in his apartment northeast of Moscow. News sources were informed by a worker at the Moscow Research Center that a 29-year-old man broke into Botikov’s home and strangled him with a belt.
Russian President Vladimir Putin honoured the virologist with the Order of Merit for the Fatherland award for his work on the COVID vaccine in 2021. A statement said that his death is being investigated as a murder, the committee, which is the investigating authority in Russia.
