The Church of England’s General Synod voted in favour of a motion to offer blessings to same-sex couples in civil partnerships and marriages.
They said that the motion did not seek to change the position on gay marriage, meaning same-sex couples are still unable to marry in church, but isn’t it ridiculous that the church of England wants to accept and what it seems to them is lightly accommodate what God frowns on.
